Recovering a hacked Hotmail account

My Hotmail account was hacked, and the hacker sent out a suspicious request to everyone in my email history. I changed my password, but now I cannot access my old emails, and I am not receiving new ones. Is there any way to recover my old emails and reactivate my Hotmail account?

Outlook.com (hotmail) is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Outlook.com actively monitors questions in dedicated forums here.

If an account access problem then also try resetting via the account recovery form
