Sharepoint Sharing Report - Missing folders

I have pulled the Sharing Report following these instructions: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/sharing-reports

It worked but now that I'm going through and comparing to the Sharepoint site, there are some folders missing from the report. For example, on the site I click on a folder's 'manage access' and can see a certain security group has access, but it's not in the report. I've noticed it seems to be folders that have also been shared with users outside our department, does the report not capture this type of folder? How can I capture every single folder in the report?

I double checked all filters on the report were cleared as well. I am an owner in the group.

    Yes, this instruction (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/sharing-reports) gives a report of contents external sharing in a site collection.

    Based on your description, I suggest you use PNP PowerShell to generate a report of a contents in a given site collection.

    Function Get-PnPPermissions([Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.SecurableObject]$Object)
    {
        #Determine the type of the object
        Switch($Object.TypedObject.ToString())
        {
            "Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.Web"  { $ObjectType = "Site" ; $ObjectURL = $Object.URL; $ObjectTitle = $Object.Title }
            "Microsoft.SharePoint.Client.ListItem"
            {
                $ObjectType = "Folder"
                #Get the URL of the Folder
                $Folder = Get-PnPProperty -ClientObject $Object -Property Folder
                $ObjectTitle = $Object.Folder.Name
                $ObjectURL = $("{0}{1}" -f $Web.Url.Replace($Web.ServerRelativeUrl,''),$Object.Folder.ServerRelativeUrl)
            }
            Default
            {
                $ObjectType = $Object.BaseType #List, DocumentLibrary, etc
                $ObjectTitle = $Object.Title
