By looking to the attached screenshot, it shows that your device is not joined to Microsoft Entra ID. If your device is joined to Microsoft Entra ID, it will show as below picture. If you are using Windows 10 Home edition Microsoft Entra ID Join will not support. How ever if you want to use the Microsoft Teams as a guest in your personal device you don’t need to join your device to Microsoft Entra ID or disconnect from it. I have followed the steps to open Credential Manager and expanded the windows credentials. The screenshot is showing what displays. The account that comes up in the Teams login is pwahid@interscripts.com. The screenshot shows something else; uncertain if that is the one I should remove.

The problem I am having is like this: I get an email with a link to attend the meeting on Teams. I click the link and then a window opens where I click "Continue on this browser". Then a window opens with a login screen that has an email account already filled in. I am expecting a screen to display allowing me to continue as a guest. I cannot see how to get this resolved.

The guest must accept the invitation before they can access the team and its channels. They can do this in the Teams client or by selecting Open Microsoft Teams in the email message. You do not need to disconnect Azure AD on your system, please note that after a guest is added to a team, it may take a few hours before they have access. I understand that you are trying to disconnect your device from Microsoft Entra ID to use teams as a guest on Your personal device.

By looking to the attached screenshot, it shows that your device is not joined to Microsoft Entra ID.

If your device is joined to Microsoft Entra ID, it will show as below picture.

I was able to use Teams previously. I was briefly working for an employer who asked me to enable settings on my laptop so that I could use Teams on my work account. This would be temporarily until they sent me a work laptop. Now I am trying to use Teams as a guest on my own laptop and it is now allowing me.

If I open a Teams meeting I am prompted to "Continue on this browser" which I want to do.

The next screen has the sign-in with my work email ID and I don't want that. I have been advised to disconnect from Azure AD to resolve this. If that is not the solution, how do I get this cleared up.

Attaching screen shots which show the issue. I would like to be able to click on "Continue on this browser" and then proceed as a guest.

I understand that you are trying to join Teams meeting and you prompted to "Continue on this browser" and in the next screen it's asking to sign-in with your work email ID.

If you prefer to use Microsoft Teams without the necessity of logging in using your work email ID, you can follow below steps.

Go to the meeting invite and select “Click here to join the meeting. "

This action will open a web page presenting two options: "Continue on this browser" and "Join on the Teams app." When you’re ready, select “Join now.”

If you’re still being prompted to sign in with your work email ID, it might be because your credentials are pre-saved and forcing the authenticate to verify the user, kindly sign in with your credentials and check. If you encounter the issue again. you can attempt to clear the credentials from the credential manager by following the below steps.

Ensure that Microsoft applications is closed.
In the apps Search and select the Control Panel and go to User Accounts.

Select the Credential Manager
Select the “Windows Credentials” tab on the right side.

Expand the Microsoft Office 365/Teams section by clicking the drop-down arrow.

Click on Remove and Yes to confirm the action.
Restart Teams and try to sign in again.

you can also try by Remove Work or School account with steps followed here, if you are still persistent the issue, I suggest reaching out to your IT department for additional support.

The problem I am having is like this:

If you have been invited to the organization as a guest user, you only need to click on the meeting link to enter and log in to your account to enter the meeting as a guest.

I am still looking for a resolution.

There are settings in place that force Teams to run under some type of domain which is no longer valid. When I try to open a teams meeting instead of a guest sign-in I get a screen with an obsolete email account prefilled. I need disconnect from this and I cannot see how to do it.

If you use the desktop client of Teams, try clearing the Teams cache:

If you use the web client of Teams, you can try to select your new account and delete the old account on the browser's settings page.
