WSUS clients (11 and 2022 server) not reporting to the WSUS server (2022 server)

I’m currently setting up a new WSUS (2022) server on my network..

The clients (win 11 and server 2022 21H2) GPO’s are pointing to the WSUS server, but the clients are not showing up in the WSUS console.

No proxy server or anything out of the ordinary… basic setup

I can download the updates to the server without issue.

The clients never show up in the console. I’ve setup a few of these over the years and have never had this issue.. I’ve tried the basic fixes with no luck… Is there something different I need to do for the 2022 server?

Thanks

Run through the troubleshooting steps from top to bottom on

    https://www.ajtek.ca/wsus/client-machines-not-reporting-to-wsus-properly/

I'm guessing it's the WSUS GPO - ensure there is no trailing slash in the URL as mentioned in part 4 of my guide

    https://www.ajtek.ca/wsus/how-to-setup-manage-and-maintain-wsus-part-4-creating-your-gpos-for-an-inheritance-setup/

under the heading Create a GPO – “WSUS – Location”
