Hello team,

I have an issue,

I have a 3 node hyperV cluster, in failover cluster, i'm seing that my management network is partitionned in two networks :

a) Cluster Network 1 => Gathering Management NIC of Node1 and Management NIC of Node2
b) Cluster Network 2 => Gathering Management NIC of Node3

Note that at the OS Level, all the management NICs on the 3 nodes are on the same subnet (X.X.X.X/24)
All the nodes can ping themselves using the Management NICs
I tried to disable/Enable the nic on Node3 to try to correct the data on the failover cluster, but networks still showing as partitionned

Note that, on the cluster Network 2 (Partionned), on the summary, i'm seing two subnets, the right one (X.X.X.X/24) and another one X.X.X.X /27

I have no idea where the second subnet (/27) is coming from, and it seems that it's the one causing the network partition.

Any idea how can i solve the issue, or maybe some leads to go on with the troubleshooting?

Thank you

    Hi Mohamed,

    Hope you're doing well.

To resolve this issue, you may want to try the following troubleshooting steps:

    1. Check the network configuration and ensure that the VLANs are configured correctly.
    2. Check the network adapter settings on each node and ensure that they are configured correctly.
    3. Check the switch configuration and ensure that it is configured correctly.
    4. Try disabling and re-enabling cluster and client traffic on the partitioned network.

    Hope this help!

    Best Regards,

    Ian Xue
