Is there a way to isolate/identify all folders or files shared with a specific email in Teams or Sharepoint?

My team, as any might, would occasionally share files or folders to specific external users (not guests or have since been removed as a guest).

It recently occurred that we need to remove complete access of a person.

They have already had their licenses, user account, and guest account removed. In my recollection, removal of them as guest would not affect their access to files/folders shared specifically to them (please correct me if otherwise). In this case, is there any way to figure out or isolate what files/folders they may still access to?

And to takes things a step further, is there anything else that I can do as admin to prevent potential leaks?

Thank you & much appreciated.

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

    As mentioned here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/manage-sharing-with-external-users-in-microsoft-365-small-business-2951a85f-c970-4375-aa4f-6b0d7035fe35

when you remove a user as a guest in Microsoft 365 or Azure Active Directory, it typically revokes their access to shared files and folders that were specifically shared with them. However, it's essential to understand that there may be exceptions or situations where they could still have access to certain resources.

    Hi @LLei

Please contact your SharePoint administrator to try Remove access for a guest:

1.On the site, select Settings, and then select Site permissions.
    2.Under Guest Expiration, select Manage.
3.On the Access Expiration page, select the user whose access you want to remove, and then select Remove access.
4.On the confirmation dialog box, select Yes, remove.

Please refer to this document for details.
