Remote Desktop for MacOS missing the Add Resource option

2020-10-27T22:32:14.843+00:00

The help site for the MacOS version of Remote Desktop says that remote resources can be added but the option is not in the + menu.

Is it a bug or not yet implemented?

    Hi,
Have you checked the connection center?

If not, you may try via adding a workspace, which is also instructed to provide the list of managed resources available to you on your macOS device.
    Add a workspace
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/clients/remote-desktop-mac#add-a-workspace

Set up email discovery to subscribe to your RDS feed
    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/remote/remote-desktop-services/rds-email-discovery

    ----------

Hope this helps and please help to accept as Answer if the response is useful.

    Thanks,
    Jenny

Thanks for the information it got me to some documentation that pointed me in the right direction. I had to set the apps up as an RDP using the Remote Application Server as a gateway.

I accessed the application server using the web app and when I clicked on the application it gave me the option to save the RDP definition for that app.
