How to recover old backups in the Authenticator App?

Had to factory reset my android phone, and right before doing it I made a cloud backup inside the Authenticator app using the option the app gives you when you go to settings. Linked it to a working outlook account and just restord my phone. Then, when setting up the device and downloading the app, I just signed in nomally (didn't see the tiny little option below the two big buttons that said "restore backup", maybe u can make that option a lil bit more visible :'D) and I saw the app was e m p t y. As you would expect, I panicked a little bit, and went to settings and enabled cloud backup again. Surprise! That didn't solve my issue. Now I fear I just have overwritten my previous backup and I lost all my passwords and two-factor codes. Please tell me I can somehow recover that last backup and get everything back :''D

    Hi Fabian Quintero Rodriguez:

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

There is no such option available to recover old backups.

I lost all my passwords and two-factor codes

You can check with your application source (microsoft in this case?) and try to reset a new password as the authenticator app is a medium for logging in, used by both service provider and the user.
