Unable to install SQL Server (setup.exe)

I know this question has been asked before but I could really use some help.

I originally had the server up and running, but couldn't connect to a remote server. I uninstalled everything and removed any files associated with the server. I then attempted to download and install again and I keep getting an "Unable to install SQL Server (setup.exe)" with error code: '-2064908287."

I will attach the summary.txt and detail.txt files:

    Have you checked if SQL Server is actually running? I see an exception in the file, and I can't say that I understand much of that exception, but I get the impression that Setup nevertheless ran to the end, so it may be benign.
