Hello,

I just got a new laptop (Name: Auusda) and I can not access snipping tool or sticky notes. I tried to download them from the microsoft store but nothing happens when I click "download". So I checked if I had the microsoft store downloaded. I do not. So I went to the web to download it and the same thing is happening. I will click but nothing happens. I have seen threads where you open powershell as an admin or in general and run the command

Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

I did this but nothing is working. Running it (not in admin powershell) gave me an "access denied" message and running it as an admin did absolutely nothing. It just opened a new line for me to input another command.

Please help me because this is getting out of control and I need certain apps for work but my computer will not download them.

    Hi @Jamie Sanders

    According to your description, you can't access snipping tool or sticky notes., and you can't download these apps from the Microsoft Store. In order to fix this, you can try the following steps:

    1. Make sure your Windows operating system is updated to the latest version. You can check for updates under "Update & Security" in Settings.
    2. Try clearing the Microsoft Store's cache. Open Settings, then select Apps and features, find the Microsoft Store and click Advanced options, and then click Reset.
    3. If the above steps don't resolve the issue, try running the Windows Store App Troubleshooter. You can download and run this tool on the official Microsoft website.

    If you're still unable to resolve the issue, please contact your device manufacture for more helps.

    Hope it helps.

    Kind regards,

    Lei
