I am running Robocopy to copy files from one Windows server to another. Most times, the log shows the complete results, but other times it seems to have stopped writing to the log. It is inconsistent, and not dependent on the number of files copied.
it seems to happen when the copy is interrupted, like a network connection is lost. When connection is reestablished, the copy continues, but does not resume writing output to the log file.
Are you logging to the C drive or a network location? If network, change that to log to the C drive and then copy the log to the network location when robocopy has finished.
