Is it possible to achive the following changing by default function

Hi there,

I post two screen shot for you to look at as shown below. Is it possible when I click the document, I could see the attribute of document instead of document set on the document library.? the default function is the document set metadata will be shown on the document library even though I choose a document.

Hi @Will ,
Per my test, in this case you can set different views in Documents and Document Set by default. However if you want to change the view when clicking on the document, it cannot be achieved by design.
You can follow the steps below:

1. Create a new view, set the metadata you want to display in this view. You could refer to this article for more information.
2. Document Set is a content type, so if you want to modify it, you need to go to Library settings>Content Types>Document Set settings>Welcome Page view, and choose the view above to display.

Hi Elsie,

I think my requirement need to be customized. I hop the final result will be:

• Document Set was selected: I could see the Document Set metadata
• File was selected: I could see the File metadata

What do you think? or is there any solution on it.
