Unable to Configure Azure Active Directory Connect

During the upgrade process, we are receiving the following errors:

Error: NullReferenceException

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

[13:40:14.686] [ 1] [INFO ] SyncDataProvider:LoadSettings - loading context with global settings.

[13:40:14.691] [ 1] [INFO ] SyncDataProvider:LoadSettings - retrieving global settings from the sync engine.

[13:40:14.946] [ 1] [ERROR] Unable to get value for Microsoft.OptionalFeature.EnableAutoUpgrade global parameter.

[13:40:14.956] [ 1] [INFO ] SyncDataProvider:LoadSettings - retrieving connector from the sync engine.

[13:40:15.216] [ 1] [INFO ] ProgressWizardPageViewModel:StartProgressOperation Start background task Microsoft.Online.Deployment.OneADWizard.UI.WizardPages.ExpressSettingsPageViewModel.GatherEnvironmentData in Page:"Express Settings"

I tried to follow troubleshooting steps at:

But I was unable to resolve the issue. I've uninstalled all components and restarted. I don't see any partially installed components in the installation log.

@Anon4343 Thank you for reaching out to us, As I understand while upgrading Microsoft Entra ID Connect - came across this issue, in the logs you see the below information

Could you provide more details to investigate this issue further

1. Environment details (previous version of Microsoft Entra ID Connect, Operating system )
2. Any issues with replication in your on-premise AD environment.
3. Event viewer details (any kerberos errors identified in the application/system logs at the time of installation) on the Microsoft Entra ID Connect server.
4. Do share the installation log file to review further.
