in section 2.2.6.4 of [MS-TDS] specification for FEDAUTH Options is always defined as bFedAuthLibrary, fFedAuthEcho however the correct order is fFedAuthEcho, bFedAuthLibrary as fFedAuthEcho is the lower bit, not the higher (so for instance 5 means auth library 2 echo 1, not auth library 5 echo 0).
What if the meaning of Workflow 3 if bFedAuthLibrary is type 2 (ADAL)? It seems most recent clients use this Workflow.

Hi @Frediano Ziglio , It is correct that fFedAuthEcho is the least significant bit. We will update the specification accordingly. Can you confirm which SQL Client you've seen uses workflow type 3 ?

both SQL Server Management Studio and ODBC driver 18 use workflow type 3.
