Moderating chat in Teams

As a Global administrator am I able to moderate chat in free version of MS Teams? This is to monitor for any sensitive or inappropriate content.

Moderation is only available for Channel conversations, and probably not available at all for the Free tier. But you seem to be talking about "supervision" and not moderation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/communication-compliance?view=o365-worldwide
Still not available within the free tier, sorry :)
