Hi,

I am using Azure Recovery Services to replicate two VMs running on a standalone Hyper-V hosts which recently lost connection to Azure, I have updated the MARS Provider to 5.1.8095.0 and MARS Agent to 2.0.9360.0 which were linked in the portal but the host is still disconnected, I read about certificate expiration and could see that the cert seem to be expired but I ma having a hard time trying to find the procedure to update it, renewing via portal does not work as the host is disconnected ad all links that I find are related to ASR and VMware which we don't have so I can't find the path as described in many articles "C drive > Program Data > Site Recovery > home > svsystems > bin"

ASR_HYPER_V_HOST_CERT_KEY_CONTAINER-cloud_xxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx

Does anyone know how to update the certificates?

Thanks

Hello @Cristopher Klint Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A platform and appreciate your patience in this matter!

<< Sharing the solution with the community >>

Symptoms: Issues with certificate expired. Redeployed the infrastructure, the new error occurred associated replication policy with the site.

Cause: Problem with vault or the provider installed in the hyper-v host. When we were trying to add the replication policy, we were having a bad request.

Solution: A new vault was used for ASR and the problem was solved.

    Hope this helps!
