Opeation returned a invalid status code "Not found"and "Bad request"

I am trying to create maintenance configuration using azure powershell, I see bad request and not found errors. Please see below screenshot and suggest. thank you

Hi,

Your ExpirationDateTime (2021-11-12 06:30) is before your StartDateTime, and your StartDateTime appears to be incomplete/incorrect. Please fix those two things and test again.

This is what I have used

New-AzMaintenanceConfiguration -ResourceGroupName test -Name workervmscentralus -MaintenanceScope Host -Location centralus -StartDateTime "2023-11-12 03:30" -ExpirationDateTime "2021-11-12 06:30" -Timezone "Eastern Standard Time" -Duration 05:00 -RecurEvery Day

start is 3.30 PM

and end is 6.30 PM

what is wrong here?

ExpirationDateTime has 2021 for the year, and since the time format is hh:mm I would guess it is 24 hour, which would make it 3:30AM and 6:30AM.

Unsure. It is a different error now at least. If the time is 24 hour, your start time is in the past, not sure if that is allowed or not. How about updating the times and see if that changes anything?

I just tested below command and it completed fine. Does resource group "Ue2LuMC-Test" exist in East US in your subscription?

Yes resource group is east US and I have given same in the command now. But still seems to be same error

Please add -Debug onto the end of your command and then post the output. This will hopefully provide additional information in the body as to why it is returning 404. I tested your exact command in your screenshot and it worked fine for me.

If you execute Get-AzResourceGroup -Name Ue2LuMC-Test command, does it return the group with subscription id that matches what is shown in Absolute URI above?

It did not show up

but when I navigate to resource group list and see the Subscription, it is there in the respective subscription

@sns confirm your context is set to the correct subscription by running Get-AzContext. Since your cmdlet can't find your resource group, I'm thinking you're on the wrong subscription. You can change subscriptions by using Set-AzContext -Subscription "xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx".

Agree with Ryan. You can navigate to your Ue2LuMC-Test resource group, Settings -- Properties blade, copy the Subscription ID, next use Set-AzContext in your cloud shell to set it to correct subscription, then try your command again.
