Is SharePoint mobile app compatible for use for accessing SharePoint on-premise site from the internet through reverse proxy.

I have published SharePoint on-premise sites to the internet through reverse proxy. I can access sites from the internet using web browsers and using browsers of mobile devices.

However, I want to access the same sites using SharePoint built in app available in play store or app store. When I put the server URL and the credentials, the contents does not load in the mobile. What could be the issue? Please suggest a solution.

Environment: SharePoint Server 2019 with Enterprise license.

    Hi @Shuvajit Roy,

According to this article, SharePoint mobile app works best for users working on intranet sites while joined to a corporate network if your SharePoint environment is on-premises. And the SharePoint app for Windows 10 Mobile will not connect to an on-premises SharePoint Server farm at this time.

Besides, SharePoint mobile app only supports Windows authentication (NTLM) and Forms Based Authentication. It does not support: ADFS, Kerberos, Basic Authentication, Digest Authentication, self-signed SSL or Multiple Authentication types in one zone. Check whether your authentication method meets the requirements.

Hope my answer helps. Just comment here if you still have any other questions.
