In Teams, Shift group members were deleted after accidentally deleted from the team itself. Members were added back in the team, now seen in Shift but still showing as [DELETED] and are missing in future months.
On those future months where those members are missing, when clicking 'Add People' those missing members are not showing (can't be found to be added back in shift for those future months), although they are still members of the team itself (as they're already added back).
The same status is seen on Teams web app and after clearing cache of the Teams desktop client.

After our testing, you can try to refresh Shift by clicking the three-dot icon in the upper left corner of Shift. After refreshing, you can re-add members.

Hi @Anonymous thanks heaps! That actually worked, basically it enabled the user to re-add shift members back again. Very much appreciated!
