Hi Team,

what different methods of data ingestion are there from Intune and Azure?

reason for this question: want to ingest data from Intune device data and MFA authentication data can I Log analytic workspace for this activity? The idea behind this is that this data would be collected to transfer to GCP for reporting.

Yes, you can ingest data from Intune and Azure into a Log Analytics workspace.

For Intune, you can use the built-in logs that provide information about your environment. You can send these logs to Azure Monitor services, including storage accounts, event hubs, and log analytics.

For Azure, you can use Azure Data Explorer which supports several ingestion methods, each with its own target scenarios. These methods include ingestion tools, connectors and plugins to diverse services, managed pipelines, programmatic ingestion using SDKs, and direct access to ingestion.

Once the data is in the Log Analytics workspace, you can export the logs to a storage account, get the data physically downloaded to a machine, and then create a custom script that would collect the logs and send them over to the new workspace through the OpInsights REST

You may explore Azure Data factory and use ODATA connector to establish connection to your Intune and ingest data to you desired Azure Data store.
