Windows Server 2016 Standard Doesn't Have Defrag Option For RAID 1 SSD's.

Hi Everyone,

We have a Windows Server 2016 Standard server that has 2 SSD's configured as a RAID1 using Intel Rapid Storage. For some reason, the defrag app doesn't show this RAID so that we can defrag it. Also, Windows task manager doesn't list any storages, including external drives that are not RAID.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much,
Sonny

May need to run the manufacturer disk and or controller diagnostics. Could also be problematic cables and or terminations.

    1. The entire disk or partition?
    2. Does it show up in Disk Management?

Could be a sign if some sort of corruption. May need to chkdsk the drive.
