MS Teams WebSite tab blocks redirect to auth service

Question

This issue appeared with MS Teams (New), which arrived to MacOS in October 2023. Same issue is reported with Windows version of the New MS Teams.

1. Pick any channel, add a tab with Website app
2. Provide https url to your website
3. Open the website tab

Actual behaviour: the website loads, however user is unable to proceed with login, if login makes redirect to 3rd party authentication website, e.g. Microsoft login page is blocked.

Expected behaviour: let iframe of new MS Teams perform redirects, or let admins of MS Teams to configure it.

p.s. where else I can report this problem/bug?

Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future.
