Can Microsoft Authenticator Passwords auto fill in Edge

Other password managers such as Lastpass, Keepass, Dashlane... can add extensions into browsers that will auto fill passwords saved in their vaults. Now that Authenticator has passwords, can the same functionality be added. I can see that Chrome has an extension but I find it strange that Microsoft does not provide functionality to utilize their own product. It is great to have two-factor authentication and this could be a really powerful app.

    Please note that you can also install Microsoft Authenticator Auto Fill extension on Microsoft Edge straight from Chrome Store. Here's an example to prove it works:

    The reason why you can't find it on Microsoft Add-ons Store is Microsoft Edge has a built-in Auto-fill feature, and it works in the same way as the auto fill extension does.
