Realtek PCIe GbE Family Controller

My Ethernet Throughput Gets really bad lag spikes Every once in a while and sometimes when it happens it could go on for over 10 minutes and could sometimes get so bad that i get no internet response. I checked on my antivirus and there is no malware. Is there any solution to this? I will provide any extra information to answer this

    • Corrupted drivers can lead to problems. Uninstall the Realtek driver and let Windows reinstall it automatically.
    • Press Windows + R, type msconfig, and press Enter.

Go to the Services tab, check Hide all Microsoft services, and disable SmartByte Network Service.

    Restart your computer.

    • Ensure that any power-saving features or bandwidth limitations are disabled in the network adapter settings.
    • If the lag spikes persist, try connecting to a different network, to see if the issue is related to your local network or internet service provider.
