Can't connect to Facebook in my VM

Question

I am encountering an issue while attempting to connect to my Facebook account within a VM. An error is indicating that the provided credentials are incorrect (almost as if the account does not exist). Interestingly, when I use the same credentials on my personal laptop, everything works seamlessly.

I find myself somewhat puzzled by this situation. I suspect the problem may be related to either geographical differences (I am located in Europe, whereas my VM is hosted in the US) or specific firewall and other rules.

The fact that you are getting an authentication error from Facebook likely indicates that the failure is happening on their side. Since you are connecting from a different country that normal there might be some security feature blocking your logjn. I web search produces several users facing similar issues.
Since this doesn't appear to be an Azure specific issue I would recommend reaching out to Facebook for support.

Have you checked the keyboard layout isn't affecting your password entry on the VM by being set to US or similar. Try typing any special characters your password may contain into notepad or similar in plain text to make sure they are inputting as expected
