Our company is setting up a large screen monitor to display critical alerts that are currently active in the web console of our SCOM server. This allows for a more beautiful presentation of the data. It would be very beneficial if there was a way to achieve this. This allows users to monitor alerts directly from the web console without having to access the SCOM server.

You could create an "Alert View" with:

    A Critical Severity

    High Priority

and with Resolution State of New

Then on the Display Tab, sort as required.

This Alert View will be available in the Web Console as well as in the Admin Console.

I would suggest you create this in your "My Workspace" until you get it where you want it.
