Keeping the cursor at the top of the page (i.e last line typed, remains at the top of my screen)

I’d like to type in the middle or top portion of my Word document without shortening the size of my window or anything like that. So when I reach the bottom of the page I’d like it to automatically scroll or jump up to the top of the screen again so I can continue typing and looking at the top half of the screen instead of having my sight line down along the bottom edge. Is there a way to do this?

When you reach the bottom of a page and keep on typing, Word automatically creates a new page and shifts the view to the insertion point.

If you need to explain your issue further, you can add screen shots using the Image tool:

    Hi @Hendriette vR

Generally, to go back to the top of document, we use shortcut: Ctrl + Home.

But for your needs, keeping the cursor at a specific position in the document, maybe you need the help of VBA code. So I add the development tag on your thread.

    Thanks for your understanding.
