"Virtual Appointment" meeting option on MS Teams

Hi,

in Teams, under meeting section it seems there are few more options other than meeting, webinar and live events. New options are Virtual Appointments, townhall, Controlled-content meeting. I am just wondering if there's a way to turn off Virtual appointment, so that it won't appear at all for end users?

Yes, you can disable the Virtual Appointments feature in Microsoft Teams. Here’s how you can do it:

Go to the Microsoft Teams admin center.

In the left navigation, go to Teams apps > Manage apps.

In the list of apps, search for the Virtual Appointments app, select it, and then switch the Status toggle to Blocked.

This will disable the Virtual Appointments feature for your organization and it won’t appear for end users.

Based on our testing, disabling this feature not only applies to Virtual Appointments in the app, but also to Virtual Appointments in the meeting options.

You may need to wait for a while after disabling this option.

@LiweiTian-MSFT it's been more than 5 days that we have virtual appointment "app" disabled in Teams and under meeting, it still hasn't disappeared.

@LiweiTian-MSFT Yes tried all those things now, but still no luck. Virtual appointment is still appearing under meeting section.

@LiweiTian-MSFT Hi, after waiting for more than 5-7 days not it is gone from "new meeting" drop down option. So hiding from global meeting templates is the trick thanks.
