Remove Windows 11 Upgrade offer in Windows 10 Update Settings

Hello.

We blocked Windows 11 Upgrade for our Windows 10 clients via GPO and registry but some clients got the Win11 Upgrade offer before we blocked it and it seems not to be possible to remove this if it is shown once. So if the offer occured once, it stays there and GPO and regkeys do not affect and the users could click on Win11 upgrade although they are no local admins.

Is it possible to remove the Win11 offer from the Win10 Update section?

Thanks.

    Hello @MicroSpidl

You can remove a Windows 10 offer from the Windows 11 update section by following these steps:

    1. Open the Control Panel and select Programs and Features.
    2. In the left pane, select View installed updates.
    3. In the list of updates, find a Windows 11-related update, right-click on it, and select Uninstall.
    4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the uninstallation process.

    Best regards,

    Lei

Hello @Lei Tao (Shanghai Wicresoft Co Ltd) and thanks for your reply.

But we do not want remove Windows 10 Offer from Windows 11. We are using Windows 10 and want to remove Windows 11 offer from the Updates becaus we do not want the users to be able to install Windows 11 on their own.

And we do not want to remove it manually for each client - we need a workaround to do that autmatically remote, e.g. via registry.
