Microsoft doesn't care that Visual Studio users are struggling to find a deleted template. She won't do anything anyway.

Recently I wanted to create a template Filter Driver: File system Mini-filter on WDK 10.0.22621.2428 in vs 2022 but did not find this template.And I was wondering why it was deleted?

Please refer to the document to install the corresponding version of WDK and SDK.
After installing WDK, it will prompt you to install the WDK Visual Studio extension. You can manually run the WDK.vsix file from this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Windows Kits\10\Vsix\VS2022\10.0.22621.2428\WDK.vsix.

2023-11-27T08:41:08.8033333+00:00 Hello, I tried on my side and couldn't find the project template (Filter Driver: Filesystem Mini-filter) in VS2022. But I can find it in VS2019 by referring to Michael's suggestion.
About missing the project template in VS2022, I will add Windows Hardware Performance tag and hope Windows Drivers team will have a reply to this. Or you can report it to product team in Developer Community.
