Trying to log into Outlook on iPhone but Authenticator tells me to enter in number to Authenticator while already being in the app?

Question

When I try to log into my work account in Outlook it automatically takes me to the Authenticator app, which then says "Open your Authenticator app and enter the number shown to sign in" but the app is already open. The app is what is showing me the numbers so I'm not sure where I'm supposed to enter them. If I click "I can't use my authenticator app right now" the only other option is to enter a different code into the authenticator app. All applications are updated.

Sounds like you'll need an account admin to reset the account so a new QR code can be generated with which you can relink the authentication device to your account.
