Azure Remote Desktop Client - Client Window Size not persistent

Issue: When I connect to the Windows Virtual Desktop, the client Window "Restore Down" always initially opens to the same size. That is, the client window always initially opens maximized (which is good) but the first time I restore down I always get the same size. After I resize, my last used size is remembered throughout the current session but is lost when I open a new session.

Desired solution: the ability to either a) have the client window size persist between sessions or b) change the default initial size.

This seems a simple request; but so far my searching for discussion or information is not helping.

I'm using Microsoft Remote Desktop Version 1.2.1446.0 (x64) on a Surface Pro 3 running Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 build 18363.1139

    Hello @ClifMcIrvin-338

How about changing the desktop size from RDP properties?

Here is an article about all the WVD RDP properties:

    Hope this helps!
