Clients are not downloading Updates from WSUS

Hi

I have a WSUS running on a virtual Windows Server 2016 in my Domain. All PCs in my Domain run Windows 10 Pro.
Recently I have an issue that some PCs do not download some Updates. The Connection is there, it sees the update, it has been downloaded successfully to the server, but some clients never get further than showing 0% completion on the download from WSUS itself.

I have not yet found any pattern to the affected Updates. Most of the MS Office 2016 updates are affected though, as well as the Cummulative Updates and one MS Defender Antivirus antimalware platform update. Some PCs downloaded them without issue though, while others get stuck with the mentioned problem. Some of teh PCs have interent access, some don't. They are in different OUs for the most part.

On the Server side I have tried clearing the downloaded Updates from WSUS and downloading them again (both with the wizard and manually), reseting the service, restarting WSUS Server, and removing the affected PCs and adding them again. Plenty of disk space is free.

On the Client side I have tried restarting the service, runing an sfc scan, and clearing the download folders (and of course rebooting the PCs).
The event viewer is showing repeated Distributed COM Error (ID 10005), which show param1 as 1115, and param 2 as wuauserv, however, I have not been able to figure out the exsact cause or how to fix it.
DISM image health restore has also been done.

Unfortunately, nothing has worked so far.

Anybody have an idea how to proceed?

Thanks in advance

From what I understand, the WSUS Server itself is downloading the files fine, ready to serve them to client systems.

Client systems however are unable to download the files from the WSUS server..

This points to either the client having an issue - run the client side script.

    https://www.ajtek.ca/wsus/client-machines-not-reporting-to-wsus-properly/

If the client side script doesn't fix the issue, then follow the troubleshooting on the same page - with 1 addition.

It could be an issue with Delivery Optimization - I normally recommend LAN (1), but some have had to change that to either Bypass or another option. I'm confident this would be due to a policy conflicting with DO. I'll likely add that sometime in the next 2 weeks to that page.
