Hello,

since approximatelly July 2023 I have problem with our company network after every Windows 10 security update. I get error code "0x80070035 The network path was not found" every time when I am trying to access network shared path. It happens on every computer in the network. I tried every solution found on internet, but nothing helped. The only way is to fix it is to uninstal security update. So every month since July I have to uninstal latest security update and then pause updates in windows update advanced options tab until furthest date to be able to work. But it starts to be very frustrating to do it every month on every PC.

Here is a list of steps, which I already tried:

SMB is enabled (I need it for QNAP NAS systems)

Netbios over TCP/IP is enabled

AllowInsecureGuestAuth in regedit is enabled (1)

Windows firewall is completely disabled

Network security : LAN Manager authentication level is set to Send LM & NTLM-use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated.

Enable insecure guest logons is enabled

Microsoft Network client: Digitally sign communications(always) is disabled

TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service is set to automatic

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com and http://update.microsoft.com added to trusted sites

Network discovery is turned on

Network password protected sharing is off

I really cannot find solution for this problem.

Regards,

Zdenko Sindler.

    Hello,

If the issue disappears after uninstall update, maybe it is related to some update issues. I checked the windows 10 update website but it seems there is no released known issue related to your error phenomenon yet, maybe it is still under investigating.

You can try uninstall that update and pause current udpates, then monior the udpate website to check if latest update has released the fix:
