We are trying to find out the final answer, does M365 Business Premium contain Windows Pro/Business license or not. From M365 Admin Portal, I see that Windows Business app is available for users assigned with premium license, but this article says that only the upgrade from existing Pro is supported: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/business-premium/m365bp-upgrade-windows-pro?view=o365-worldwide&source=recommendations#purchase-windows-10-or-11-pro-to-upgrade-from-windows-10-or-11-home
In our case, customer is buying low level consumer laptops with Windows Home version and reinstall them with USB installation media to Pro/Business. Is that supported without buying Professional license additionally?

After carefully reviewing the service description of Microsoft 365 Business Premium, I found that it offers an upgrade service,
but it does not provide Windows 10 Pro without a previous Windows license.
If you require a Microsoft 365 subscription that includes a license for Windows 10,
I would suggest trying out Microsoft 365 E3.

Currently Ms365 Business premium includes a W10/11 Bussiness License

From our experience, if I deploy a windows 10/11 pro without any product key (tested in MANY labs), using a Business Premium and joining the device to Entra ID/Intune. Windows WILL activate on Windows Business license included in business premium.
The documentation may say otherwise, but in practice it is as I described. You can test and see for yourself....

I've installed Windows Pro and 70 Devices and Enrolled them into Intune.
All of our users are assigned Business Premium License in 365.
Have you ever seen the machines not being activated?
I have 1 machine that has magically worked but all the others are seeing the Business Subscription but Windows wont activate.

I refer you to this Microsoft document, which clearly states WIN 11 is included in Business Premium. Just like Enterprise.

What do you mean by previous license? Home is a previous license here.... just want to make sure, can home be upgraded to pro / business without puchasing additional Windows license. (only using M365 Business premium).
