Does Outlook for Microsoft 365 support emails with dark mode media queries?

Question

We currently have emails that have media queries for dark mode. We don't see these styles reflected when the color scheme changes. Our intuition is that it is not supported or being stripped.

1. Can someone confirm if this is the case?
2. Are there docs about what email client versions support which features?
