Interested in learning more about PAAS

Hi,

I'm interested in enhancing my existing skill set and gaining a deeper understanding of PAAS, including functions, logic apps, event grid, etc. While MS Learn provides a solid foundation with basic concepts, I'm eager to explore real-life scenarios that demonstrate how to effectively utilize them in a corporate setting.

I also follow John Savill and other youtubers but again they focus on gaining that understanding first

As a solo Cloud Engineer in a small organization, the lack of peers makes it challenging to acquire knowledge from others in the field. I'm seeking resources or opportunities to bridge this gap and further my practical understanding of these technologies.

Apart from joining a large organisation where I can see things in action, what other options are there?

Any assistance would be appreciated

    Hello @John Pala,

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

Yes, the easiest way to learn stuff the hard way (learning by doing) is to start working for another company.

If this is a consultancy job, you have the chance to see many projects and many customers.

Otherwise, you need to invest spare time.

Start automating your own life, the company of a friend, join an open-source project. There are many non-profit organizations needing help from people like you.

Or, try to learn something and write a blog post about it or create video. Then you need to go out of your comfort zone to get it just right.

    Good luck!
