Error occurs while executing the database activity parallel

Hi,

today I encountered a strange behavior within the System Center Orchestrator 2022 RU1.

When I'm using the database activity parallel within a runbook the exception "Failed to load extension" occurs.

Step 1

Create runbook with two parallel database activities

Enter dummy query for both database activities: SELECT 'ABC'[Value] (It also happens with all other queries)

Initialize Data does not contains parameters

Step 2

Execute runbook with a loop

Delay between attempts: 5 seconds

Exit: Number of attempts equals 10

Result

The following error will occur and the running instances are orphaned

We have two parameters within this runbook (Initial Data). With the value of Parameter1 the Query1 is used and with the value of Parameters2 the Query2 used. We fixed the issue by redesigning the runbook and proceed the data on another way.

But normally that should work or? The Runbook designer does not avoid to create the runbook like this. Is this a general problem in Orchestrator 2022 or only in our environment?

Based on my understanding of smart link, only single-way connections are supported, and you can choose to judge, not parallel.

I'm running into this as well. Similar runbook with parallel tasks, but running SCO 2022 UR2. It works on the secondary Runbook Server, but the primary gives the "Failed to load extension" error and many instances get created and orphaned.
