How do I delete a VM Restore Point which is in failed state

Hello,

    I used the VM Backup option from Azure Portal to backup my test Windows VM. Afterwards I deleted all the resources. However one restore point is still left behind and it is in failed state. There is a disk of 127 GB inside the restore point. When I click on the disk it says "Resource not found" and I am unable to delete the disk or the Restore Point from the Azure Portal. Also tried to delete the resource group from the CLI but it fails while deleting the restore point.

  Would appreciate any help.

On trying to delete the restore point from command line, I get the below error.

(DiskRestorePointUsedByCustomer) There is an active shared access signature outstanding for disk restore point nwapp01-osdisk-20231118-114531_41db9586-79a7-4f2d-a1cc-efa74827c4f3. Call EndGetAccess before deleting the VM restore point AzureBackup_20231118_121344.

I tried to revoke the SAS access of the disk restore point using https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/compute/disk-restore-point/revoke-access?tabs=HTTP#code-try-0 but this again errors out with

"Vm restore point AzureBackup_20231118_121344 not found"
