I am having issues with applying a BitLocker encryption to my device.

When i checked the System information i found the reason is Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected.

How can i solve it? I saw a walkaround with registry but is there another solution?

Hello I’m sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with BitLocker encryption. Here are a few potential solutions:   Check for BIOS/UEFI updates: Ensure your system’s BIOS/UEFI is up-to-date. Manufacturers often release updates to fix bugs or improve performance, which might resolve your issue.   Suspend and Resume BitLocker: If your firmware update changes the Secure Boot policy, you may need to suspend BitLocker, apply the update, and then restart the device.   Use Event Viewer: You can use the Event Viewer to find out which bus needs to be added to the approved list. Here’s how:   Open Event Viewer. Choose Applications and Services Logs -> Microsoft -> Windows -> BitLocker-API -> Management. Look for an “Information” item with Event 4122.   Modify BIOS Settings: Enter BIOS (Reboot your device > As soon as you see the manufacturer’s logo, press F2 key repeatedly to enter BIOS.) to turn on the DMA. If it does not work, turn off and then turn on the TPM.   Best Regards, Wesley Li
