Anytime I try to right click, expand my database folder, or making a diagram in Object Explorer, the right click context menu takes 13-20 seconds to appear, the whole SSMS even went Not Responding at times.
I personally don't think my laptop would be that bad for SQL in general (Intel Core i7-12700H, 2x8GB DDR5 4800MHz, 1TB NVMe Gen 4 SSD)
Trying the same database on friend's laptop (Intel Core i5 1135G7, 8GB DDR4, 256GB NVMe Gen 3 SSD) and the Object Explorer did not take that long to respond to interactions.
(both laptops using SQL Server 16.0.1000, SSMS 19.2)
What can I do to make Object Explorer more responsive ?
