Windows 10, 1809 is updated to 1909, the computer certificate is removed

Question

Many users' computers(1809) will install the 1909 update. After restarting the computer, it is found that the computer certificate has been deleted.
Because of the CISCO ISE certification, the IP cannot be obtained due to a lack of computer certificates. This is a troublesome question. Is there a solution?

Thank you for your sharing.

Just be sure target OS build > existing OS build would not cause the issue. So no matter uninstall 9C or 10B update package on existing OS or add them on target OS are works well.

The known issue has been released by Microsoft in Windows Update history on 9C and 10B package link no matter 1909, 2004 or 20H2. Here is a link for quick action. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4555932

And also has been states in Windows 10, version 20H2 and Windows Server, version 20H2

As I know, the existing recommend steps is roll back to previous system version and upgrade again with latest package installed in target ISO image as I said in Windows 10 ,Feature Update to 1909, Certificates missing after

My environment test results are as follows: The certificate disappeared from 1809 to 1909, and it was tested to be affected by the patch KB4577668. Remove the patch from 1809 and upgrade to 1909, and it will work normally.
