Hello Azure Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue with an Azure Batch account that I attempted to delete. The account was set up with User subscription allocation mode. After initiating the deletion, the account has been stuck in the "deleting" status for more than 2 days. During this period, I have been unable to edit or use the account due to its ongoing deletion status.

This prolonged deletion process is impacting my workflow, and I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this issue. Could you please provide guidance on how to expedite the deletion process or any steps I need to take to resolve this?

Thank you for your support and looking forward to your prompt response.

Hello Laketic, Milena I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with deleting your Azure Batch account. If the account has been stuck in the "deleting" status for more than 2 days, there may be an issue with the deletion process. Here are some steps you can take to expedite the deletion process:

    1. Check if there are any active jobs or pools associated with the Batch account. If there are, you will need to delete them before you can delete the Batch account.
    2. Check if there are any quotas or limits that are preventing the Batch account from being deleted.
    3. Try deleting the Batch account again. If the account is still stuck in the "deleting" status, you can try deleting it again using the Azure Portal or Azure CLI. If you're using the Azure CLI, run the following command: az batch account delete --name <account-name> --resource-group <resource-group-name> Contact Azure Support. If none of the above steps work, you can contact Azure Support for further assistance. They can help you investigate the issue and provide guidance on how to resolve it.

    I hope this helps!
