I have a keyboard issue. On my laptop my keys are not registering. The only ones not registering are number key 3 and letter key e. So I shutdown and restart and the keys work again?

Then I test it by clicking the keys multiple times. It works for a bit then it breaks within 30 or so presses. (Which is about 1 min of pressing the keys multiple times) In addition, when my letter e works, my number 3 key does not.

For example, during one of the tests, I clicked 3 about 15 times. Worked perfectly, however as soon as I clicked the letter e once, the number 3 key would not register as clicked.

Is this a software or hardware issue? I cleaned my keyboard with compressed air, and I did system diagnostics of my laptop keyboard, in addition I uninstalled the keyboards and restarted. I also reverted back to a version of windows before I had this problem. Nothing seems to fix it.

Restart your computer in Safe Mode and check if the issue persists. If the keys work fine in Safe Mode, it may indicate that a third-party application or driver is causing the problem. You can then try disabling startup programs and services to identify the culprit.

If the issue persists, it could be a hardware problem with the keyboard itself. Try an external USB keyboard to test the issue.
