Internet browsing is slow in VM. any scenario which involves data transfer works slow e.g. there is a lag even when any click or entry is done. also as we checked internet speed test, internet speed is also ok.

below is our deployment.

server : windows server 2012 r2

VM : windows10 64bit

we are accessing Hyper V vm from LAN using mstsc or Radmin. we are using web app like Clickup, sharepoint etc.. we are using browser google chrome and IE.

we are facing leg issue while we access VM from LAN when we click for typing or selection on web app. it show me leg.

VM having good amount of RAM about 12 Gb and 4 core CPU, but still show me leg. also RAM and CPU not utilize high. Also internet speed test also seems OK.

we are not using firewall in LAN, also we have internal DNS. issue come only in VM PCs not physical PC.

    Hi,

    1. How do we configure the VM network to allow it to access the Internet, does the VM connect to external virtual switch or we use NAT for the VM?
    2. Does the issue also exist when we connect to the VM locally on the Hyper V host?
    3. Does the issue only exist on one VM or all VMs?
    4. Do we enable any advanced settings on the physical NIC card on the Hyper V host, like VMQ, TCP offloading?

    Thanks for your time!
    Best Regards,
    Anne
