Hi all,

I am using a Univeristy laptop with all the network ad safety configuration from the University.
I've upgraded to win 11 about 2 months ago and in the last weeks I have started experiencing a very annoying problem with the windows explorer.
It has become unbelievably slow, it's impossible to open any folder uless you wain maybe 50/60 seconds, but I've noticed that it works better (almost normal speed I would say) if:

  • the wi-fi is off
  • i am connected to the department network (eduroam doesn't work either)

Department IT couldn't help.

I have already tried all the procedures suggested in other threads for the "slow windows explorer".

Any help would be much appreciated

Try performing Clean Boot and see if the problem persists?

    Have a look at:

If not , enable services one by one to see which one causing the problem.
