Intune Conflict with Password Required Type

Hi All,

I have this issue with a device compliance policy that none of my devices are in compliance because of "Password Required Type". When I look in Intune it tells me the policy where the conflict is in, but this is completely useless as I have no idea what it is conflict with. Surely it should somehow tell which two or more policies are in conflict with each other. One policy cannot be in conflict with itself, well definitely not this one.

I have seen this behavior on other policies that have had conflicts and I had to click around to multiple different sections to find the other locations in the portal where the conflict was coming from.

This is extremely frustrating and I cannot find this one conflict at all.

Can someone please help me out with this.

Thank you

    @Jason P,Thanks for posting in Q&A.

    From your description, I know that you encountered an issue that there are some policies causing conflict and you want to find out the conflict.

    Based on my research, when two or more compliance policies are assigned to the same user or device or compliance policy settings and configuration policy settings are the same, they will cause conflict.

    To clarify this issue, please go to Intune portal and check following information.

    1.Check if there exist more than one compliance policy assigned to the same user or device.

    2.Check if the compliance policy settings and configuration policy settings have some in common.
