Hi Team,
We have an issue when we try to open Azure Function from Visual Studio Code. We received this error: 'Error: Resource provider 'Microsoft.Web' failed to return collection response for type 'sites'.
note: We are able to create a new function app, but we are not able to open the function app.
also Microsoft.Web has been registered, as you can see:

it is Version: 1.84.2, and yes it is our first time to use it

I have run into a similar issue in the past. In my case, I wasn't able to list web apps, but it has since been resolved. I would check that you have the latest Azure Tools extension installed in VS Code. If installing the latest version of the extension doesn't solve the issue, I suggest filing a new issue with under the Functions extension.
