I have 12000 AUD credits to be used. Can Azure OpenAI API consume those credits?

Question

I have 12000 AUD credits to be used in Azure. Can Azure OpenAI API consume those credits? Or would I require to create OpenAI account and have credits consumed from OpenAI only?

Kindly advise.

To answer your query, you can get up to $150k in credits towards Azure OpenAI Service.
Startups may use Azure credits for access, but the amount of credits needed will depend on how much you use the service. But you will need to apply for access.

Startups in Microsoft for Startups Founders Hub must apply for access for their specific use case. You’re encouraged to apply under the most fitting review criteria for your stage. Once approved for use, customers can login to the Azure portal to create an Azure OpenAI Service resource and get started either in our Studio website or via code. You can read and learn more via our documentation.
