Hi All,

I have an SSRS report with some parameters, and when you developing it with Report Builder and run it the "Parameters Area are shown by default", if you call same report the parameters area are collapsed by default, ill like to have it expanded.

i've been tryed to pass the configuration on url, but still collapsed:

http://<MyReportServer>/ReportServer/Pages/ReportViewer.aspx?%2fReportFolder%2fReportsInitialPage&rs%3aCommand=Render&rc%3aParameters=true&rc%3aParamMode=Full

here i found some of the ideas how to configure the parameters area:

but not working...

All of my parameters have default values and report rendered, if ill remove from one of my parameters default value so the "Parameters area is shown expanded".

Independently of my default parameters values setup i would like to have all time the "Parameters area expanded not colapsed". thanks for help

    Hi @gheorghe graur

This sounds strange. I did a simple test. All three parameters in the report have default values. When opened in a browser, the parameters area expands when there is no command or when "&rc:Parameters=True" is entered. When I type "&rc:Parameters=False", the parameters area is hidden. Everything works great.

What browser are you using? When you pass configuration on a URL and it crashes, check the logs for error messages: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/reporting-services/report-server/report-server-service-trace-log?view=sql-server-ver16.
